Peak Support Q&A: Kathleen Egger
Kath is just one of the many supermoms at Peak Support. Her ability to juggle work and family life with poise and grace is what makes her truly admirable. The colors blue and green are her favorites because they remind her of the ocean and nature. Kath is quite the thrill-seeker, having gone on exciting adventures such as skydiving and freediving. But what you may not know is that she has a fear of small spaces. Which is why she hasn’t gone on any spelunking or caving activities just yet. But don’t let this amazing woman’s petite frame fool you. Kath is a big fan of staying fit and one of the ways she does it is by boxing. Read this fun Agent Q&A blog to learn more about Kath.
What place have you always wanted to visit but have never had the chance to?
I’ve always wanted to go to Coron, Palawan. It’s been a long time goal of mine to dive through the underwater passages, otherworldly reefs, and ghastly wrecks. Basking in the lounge area on fine, powdery white sand beaches is a must-do too when in Coron.
What’s something that you’ve been able to check off your bucket list?
Skydiving! It was just a tandem dive, but I did jump out of the plane at 10,000 feet. It was 100% of pure adrenaline!
If you could tell your child something about the world, what would it be?
I’ll let her know that “The world is a book, and if you do not explore or travel, you only read a page of it.” There’s just a lot of sights to see, people to meet, stories to share, and knowledge to learn. She will not achieve these if she’s stuck in one place.
What do people usually ask your help for?
I am the go-to person when people need help with their travels. I’m like travel agency basically.

Who was your favorite teacher in high school?
Miss Burgador, my English teacher. She was friendly and polite. One time she called my classmate’s mother “ma’am,” and the parent asked why she called her that instead of just calling her by “inday”(a Cebuano term which means a young girl or a female in general. But it can also be used sometimes in a demeaning manner, depending on the tone. ) like the rest. She replied, “Because everyone deserves to be respected.”
If you could take your family on an exciting adventure, where would you take them and what fun activities will you do?
I’ll take my parents and brother to Tokyo Disneyland. They were not able to travel so much in the past, so if I can, I’d like take them to one of the happiest places on Earth. I want them to enjoy being a child again and see the smiles on their faces.
